The Mamiya MSX 1000 (1974) is the electronic-shutter successor of the Mamiya 1000 DTL. **Electronic vertical metal shutter** to 1/1000s (vs DTL's mechanical horizontal cloth), TTL stop-down CdS spot/average metering, manual exposure, M42 mount. Sat between the mechanical DTL line and the proprietary CS-mount ZM Quartz (1982).
