The Mamiya 645 Super (1985) is the first modular Mamiya 645 with **interchangeable film backs** (120, 220, Polaroid). Same focal-plane shutter, same Mamiya-Sekor C/N lenses as the earlier 645 1000s, but now with a back-swap system that allows you to change film mid-shoot. AE prism finder couples for aperture priority. Production ran 7 years until the 645 Pro (1992) refined the line further.

The 645 Super is the cheapest entry into modular Mamiya 645 medium format. Used at $400–800 with one lens — about 30% cheaper than a 645 Pro. Same lens compatibility, same general workflow, just slightly older electronics and no TTL flash.
Same as 645 Pro: Mamiya-Sekor C/N lenses (45/2.8, 55/2.8, 80/2.8 N kit, 110/2.8, 150/3.5, 210/4). 120/220/Polaroid backs. AE prism, plain prism, waist-level finder.
