Profile notes
KODAK AEROCOLOR IV Negative Film 2460 is the successor to the Aerocolor III 2444, featuring next-generation T-grain emulsion for improved sharpness and resolving power. Its red sensitivity extends 30nm further than previous aerial films, enabling superior haze penetration and more accurate foliage and geological rendition. Daylight-balanced for medium- to high-altitude work, it is primarily designed for photogrammetric mapping, environmental monitoring, and reconnaissance. The ESTAR base provides dimensional stability critical for precision mapping. Like the 2444, it is fully C-41 compatible and has been respooled by third parties for general 35mm use, where it produces fine-grain, neutral-toned negatives with wide exposure latitude. Sold commercially in bulk rolls through aerial imaging suppliers including B&H Photo.
