Rollei Ortho 25 Plus is distributed by Maco Photo Products (Germany) and is sensitized orthochromatically (380–610 nm), meaning it can be handled under red safelight. Its ultra-low speed of ISO 25 delivers extraordinary resolution, finest grain, and extremely high edge sharpness. The polyester base provides excellent dimensional stability. Recommended exposure latitude is ISO 12–50. Used in technical-scientific, halftone, and pictorial applications; its blue-green bias renders blue skies dark and yellows light, producing a crisp, graphic look. Available in 35mm, 120, and sheet formats.
