SantaColor 800 is produced and distributed by Optik Oldschool, which acquired the SantaColor brand from Kamerastore (Finland). The film emulsion itself is manufactured in the United States and hand-spooled in Finland. It is a standard C41 colour negative film compatible with all C41 processing. Key characteristics include natural skin tones, warm-punchy colour palette (strong reds, saturated tones), great sharpness, and wide exposure latitude. It is not a motion-picture film and requires no pre-bath remjet removal. Launched commercially in the 2020s. Available via Kamerastore, Optik Oldschool, Analogue Wonderland, Freestyle Photo, and other international retailers.
