Polaroid B.V. (the brand reborn from Impossible Project's 2017 acquisition of "Polaroid Originals") launched the Now in 2020. It replaced the OneStep 2 (2017) and OneStep+ (2018). Variants: Now+ (2021, Bluetooth + lens filters), Now Generation 2 (2024, refined cosmetics + improved film door). Continuous production.
For 2026 buyers, the Polaroid Now is the easiest entry into modern Polaroid integral instant photography. New at $130. Compatible with Polaroid B.V. I-Type film (~$2/print) or 600 film. The autofocus and double-exposure mode are meaningful improvements over the older OneStep cameras. The rechargeable internal battery means no proprietary disposable cells.
The Now is the volume seller of modern Polaroid; the trade-off is the lens is plastic and image quality is closer to a 1980s OneStep than to a 1972 SX-70.
Lens fixed. Optional Now+ lens filter set (orange / blue / starburst). Polaroid wrist strap.
