The Polaroid Now+ is a Bluetooth-enabled integral instant camera released in 2021 as a premium sibling to the Polaroid Now. It accepts i-Type and 600-format film and improves on the OneStep+ (2018) by pairing the app connectivity with a two-element zone autofocus lens system. The distinguishing retail differentiator over the base Polaroid Now is a set of five screw-on lens filters (starburst, vignette, double exposure, colored gel, and close-up) bundled in the box. The body follows the rounded-rectangular silhouette Polaroid established for the Now line, USB-C rechargeable, with no film-pack battery dependency.

The Now+ was announced alongside a refresh of the broader Polaroid consumer lineup in 2021. By that point the re-founded Polaroid had been through two naming phases - Polaroid Originals (2017-2020) then simply Polaroid again - and had established the Now as its mid-tier autofocus body. The Now+ occupied a new premium consumer tier above the Now, positioned between the approachable Now and the enthusiast-oriented Polaroid i-2 (announced 2023).
The OneStep+ (2018) had introduced Bluetooth connectivity to the Polaroid instant line but shipped with a fixed-focus lens, limiting its utility at close portrait distances. The Now+ corrected this by pairing the app functionality with the zone AF system debuted on the base Now. The bundled filter set was a retail strategy: it gave consumers a visible, tangible value-add in a category where competing Fuji Instax bodies had none.
The Now+ represents Polaroid's clearest articulation of its "camera as creative tool" proposition in the consumer instant segment. The filter bundle lowered the barrier to intentional in-camera effects, encouraging experimentation without requiring darkroom skill or post-processing. The Bluetooth app integration, refined from the OneStep+ generation, allowed double-exposure control and remote shutter with improved reliability.
The camera also signalled that Polaroid saw a sustainable premium tier above the basic impulse-buy instant cameras that dominated the Fuji Instax Mini space. Whether that tier proved durable commercially is less clear - the i-2 later addressed a more technically demanding audience, leaving the Now+ between two established market positions.
