Fujifilm Neopan 100 Acros (and its successor Acros II) is a panchromatic black-and-white negative film known for producing some of the finest grain of any ISO 100 film ever made. Originally introduced in 2000 under the Acros name—a rebrand of the earlier Neopan 100 SS—the film earned a devoted following for its rich three-dimensional tonal gradation, high acutance, and remarkably stable reciprocity performance. The original Acros was discontinued in April 2018 due to loss of key raw materials. In June 2019, Fujifilm announced a reformulated successor: Neopan 100 Acros II, which began shipping in Japan in November 2019 and reached international markets by early 2020. Acros II employs Super Fine-Σ Grain Technology (RMS granularity of approximately 7, finer than Fuji Provia 100F and Kodak Ektachrome E100) alongside PIDC (Precision Iodine Distribution Control) for consistent development across both hand-tank and machine processing. The film's hallmark reciprocity behaviour—no compensation needed for exposures up to 120 seconds, only ½ stop for 120–1000 seconds—makes it a favourite for long-exposure landscape and architectural work. Available in 35mm and 120 formats. Develops in standard black-and-white chemistry (D-76, Rodinal, HC-110, etc.).
BW
Fujifilm Neopan 400 (sold as Neopan Presto 400 in Japan) was a high-speed ISO 400 panchromatic black-and-white negative film, prized for its fine grain for the speed, high exposure latitude, and a distinctly clean, silvery tonal character. It was discontinued in 2013–2014.
E6
Fujifilm Fujichrome Astia 100F was a professional E6 reversal (slide) film available in 135 and 120 formats, renowned for its exceptionally soft, natural skin tone rendering and low contrast. It was the preferred choice of portrait and fashion photographers shooting transparency film.
C41
Fujifilm Industrial 100 was a Japan-only ISO 100 C-41 color negative film distributed through industrial and commercial channels rather than consumer retail. It was discontinued around 2017 and is noted for its cool, neutral rendering suited to documentation and technical photography.
