Profile notes

Fujifilm Fujichrome Velvia 100 (RVP 100) was developed as a higher-speed companion to the legendary Velvia 50, maintaining much of the extreme color saturation and rich contrast that defines the Velvia character while offering one extra stop of sensitivity. Velvia 100 delivers intensely saturated greens, deep blues, and vivid reds with very fine T-grain technology. It is popular with landscape, nature, and commercial photographers who demand maximum color impact in their transparencies. The film was briefly discontinued in some markets before being re-established in production. As of 2026, Velvia 100 (RVP 100) is confirmed available through Fujifilm Japan and international distributors in both 135 and 120 formats. Note: Fujifilm also produced Velvia 100F (RVPF), a slightly softer variant, which is discontinued; RVP 100 remains current.
