Profile notes
Earl Grey 100 is Lomography's slow-speed B&W film, introduced around 2011. The current emulsion is widely identified as a repackaged or relabelled Fomapan 100 (manufactured by Foma Bohemia in the Czech Republic); earlier runs were reportedly sourced from Kodak T-Max 100. As a panchromatic film, it responds to all visible wavelengths, allowing tonal control with colored filters. At ISO 100 the film delivers fine grain, high sharpness, and an impressive dynamic range with rich blacks and bright whites. It is suited to bright outdoor situations or studio use with adequate light. Development is straightforward with any standard black-and-white chemistry. Available in 35mm and 120 formats sold in three-packs.
