Profile notes
Lady Grey 400 is Lomography's fast-speed B&W counterpart to Earl Grey 100, introduced alongside it around 2011. The current emulsion is widely recognized as Fomapan 400 (Foma Bohemia). Earlier runs were reportedly based on Kodak T-Max 400. As a panchromatic film it captures all visible wavelengths for tonal fidelity. At ISO 400, Lady Grey delivers relatively fine grain for its speed, smooth graduated tonality, and high dynamic range. It performs well in varied lighting conditions and responds favorably to moderate push processing. One practical note: Foma films are not DX coded, so cameras relying on DX coding require manual ISO override. Developed in standard black-and-white chemistry.
