REFLX LAB 250 is a C-41-compatible daylight-balanced color negative film in 135 format, sourced from Kodak Vision3 5207 250D motion picture stock with the rem-jet backing removed. Without rem-jet, the film can be processed at any standard C-41 lab. Rated at ISO 250, it gives a slight underexposure buffer versus the native 250D rating, optimizing for C-41 development. The Vision3 250D emulsion is noted for vivid, punchy daylight colors, high contrast, and expanded dynamic range. Light piping on initial frames is a known risk with polyester-based respools; shoot an extra blank frame at the start or load in subdued light. Distinct from the REFLX LAB 320D which uses the newer AHU (anti-halation undercoat) variant of 5207.

Despite the '400D' name, the underlying emulsion is 250D; the faster ISO rating reflects the rem-jet removal and C-41 processing adaptation. Delivers punchy cinematic daylight color.
