The Ricohflex (1950) is a Japanese budget 6×6 TLR. Both lenses (taking and viewing) are linked by **gearing on the front face** — focus by turning the lens itself rather than via a separate focus knob. Simpler mechanism than the Rolleicord/Yashica D's bellows-style focus. **Ricoh Anastigmat 80mm f/3.5** taking lens (3-element Cooke triplet, less sophisticated than Tessar designs). Shutter speeds limited (1/10s to 1/200s typical, varies by model).

The Ricohflex line started 1950 with the original; multiple variants followed (Ricohflex VI, VII, Holiday, Diamond, etc.) through 1958 when Ricoh exited the TLR market. Made in massive volumes for the Japanese mass market — many variants exist with varying lenses, shutters, and cosmetics.
For 2026 buyers, the Ricohflex is one of the cheapest 6×6 TLRs you can buy. Used at $60–200. The 3-element lens is lower-quality than Yashinon/Rokkor Tessars (4-element) but fine stopped down. The geared lens focus is unusual but functional.
Lens fixed. Bay I filters.
