Profile notes
Fujifilm Superia Premium 400 was introduced to offer consumers a step above the standard Superia 400 emulsion, featuring tighter grain and higher sharpness while maintaining the ISO 400 sensitivity. Known in some Japanese domestic and Asian markets as 'Superia Venus 400' or 'Superia Premium,' the film was designed to compete with Kodak's Ultra 400 consumer film. It used an improved version of Fujifilm's 4th color layer technology and delivered fine-grained results with warm, vibrant colors. The film was discontinued as Fujifilm consolidated its consumer lineup, with markets served by Superia X-TRA 400 instead. It was also closely related to the Fuji Venus 400 product sold in Japan under different branding.
