Profile notes
JCH StreetPan 400 is a 35mm (135) black-and-white panchromatic film launched in 2016 by Bellamy Hunt of Japan Camera Hunter. The box speed is ISO 400 (the database field is null in error; the confirmed ISO is 400). The emulsion is derived from Agfa Aviphot aerial surveillance film — originally Aviphot Pan 400S, with later production batches understood to use Aviphot Pan 200S. It features a two-layer emulsion coated on a 100 µm transparent polyester base, extended spectral sensitivity to approximately 750 nm giving it mild near-infrared responsiveness that cuts through atmospheric haze, and high contrast with pronounced grain in the midtones. Its exposure latitude spans approximately EI 200–500. The film is also available in 120 format.
